The Review:

"Transmission Lost" is the first full-length album by the California band, MODEL A. The music is bordering between indie and progressive rock. Simply put, Model A can be though of as what would happen if Black Sabbath merged with Radiohead but with an originality own it’s own. This is a band that has a promising future with it’s knack for fusing complexity of Progressive & Indie Rock with a staright forward song that stays in your head long after the cd stops.

Transmission Lost is at times surrealist and at time heavy. It touches the sense and never lets go It’s always fresh each spin and it’s something that you can play for your friends that aren’t into the complex thinking side of music. This is one of my favorite releases of 2004 and it should be yours too.
