The Review:

Lion Music surprised me when I heard this 3 song promotion single from Mister Kite. Most of the label is neo-classical metal based so when heard a very modern sounding music I was as I said, surprised, in a good way! Mister Kite, hailing from Sweden aka the land of the new Prog revival of the early 90's, has a gothic atmosphere combined with a n-metal approach. Before you cower away, they are miles above anything of those genres.

On this single, it’s features two songs from their second release Box of Fear (see Reviewed Discography below), How Long and a radio edit of The Hunger. The third track on the single is their refreshing contribution to the Deep Purple & Rainbow tribute, Blackmore’s Castle entitled Bloodsucker. Which is the best thing off that release anyways. Mister Kite has a very promising future ahead and hopefully they’ll retain all of their integrity and style.
