The Review:

Vocalist/keyboardist and founding member Michael Sadler announced that he will be leaving Saga at the end of 2007 which is also the band’s 30th anniversary. As part of this celebration the band released Worlds Apart Revisited, which is a fitting and important swan song for the band. It’s being released as a 2cd set (reviewed here), a 2dvd set and a special edition set which has the cds & dvds in a special packaging.

The Worlds Apart Revisited live set was recorded live in Switzerland in 2005 and features all nine songs from the Worlds Apart album as well as other favorites from various albums throughout their amazing career. In total there are 22 songs, represent the band in perfect form. Some of the songs are some of my favorites like "The Pitchman", "On the Loose", "Amnesia", "Ice Nice", "Don't Be Late" and "Keep it Reel".

Worlds Apart Revisited is something both new and old fans will need to have in their collection. I’d even say if you were ever curious as to what Saga sounds like then this is a perfect introduction to this band’s amazing musical legacy
